The North Pole? It's a long way off, typically, but for a few special weeks, you can find a sprightly slice of it in Long Beach, at the Queen Mary. The brand-new CHILL, a long-running holiday event that unfurls next to the ship, will now take visitors on "...an icy expedition honoring international holiday celebrations and the cultural celebrations of Germany, Switzerland, China, Russian, Holland, and the North Pole." Tickets are on sale now.

An Ice Adventure Park, and an around-the-globe theme, are headed for the Long Beach landmark.
